WWTBAM - THE MIRROR
Promotion
The Mirror agreed a licencing deal with Celador, the makers of the incredibly popular Who Wants To Be A Millionaire gameshow. A scratchcard was distributed in the Mirror and contained a series of answers, mirroring the TV format. To find the question, readers had to buy the Mirror each day for 14 days and then correctly scratch off the corresponding answer. Revealing 3 identical cash amounts during the promotion won a prize. A TV campaign supported the game launch.
